lol, I dont get the people bashing PUGs here... first they complain that GW is getting boring because its all too easy... then they want 7 Heroes to make it even easier... then they complain that PUGs are utter fail.
OK, sometimes the latter is true... but how about playing oldstyle without H/H at all and try and make your PUG successfull even with the Leeroy eLe and the bad Healing/Smite monk topped with the r1 Ursan Wammo overagroing stuff at the other end of the radar.
I even have an Ascalonian Necro devoted to playing like a noob (no tomes, Heroes, runs, Runes or golds from storage or weapons not from drops /bonus or bought with the money from drops) and its actually made Prophs interresting again.
Back on topic. lol
The longest I took for anything was one guild FoW clear.... 12 hours including breaks for food, shoping, bringing Kids to bed, general chatting and fooling around.

I'd take humans over retarded AI. It takes me much longer to go through the games without people. Anyway, sounds like a fun and tough game there. Nice.

I for one am proud of your intestinal fortitude!!
(You just stayed to torment the puggies...didn't you..admit it!)
I believe the longest 'mission' for me would have to be that 6 hour straight Full DoA tour my guild did one day.
(BEFORE the bug fix and consumibles, ursan, ect.)
It was a punishment I feel, from Racthoh to his beloved underlings....
he is just a meanie like that sometimes.
When we completed the torture...He announced:
" I am proud to say, my guild isn't completely full of phail!"
If I had a hockey stick handy..I would have smacked him with it...dam Canuck.

Retarded AI, sure or retarded people with flare and firestorm in their builds while their primary is something like a ranger or monk.
Id rather have my retarded AI that has a damn good damaging build that actually hurts enemies instead of having people in a pug with horrid skill bars.

Yeah. My last pug was an astonishing success.
It was Thirsty River (HM) we did it under the time and saved the king.
I just had to use my 3-second-monk-nuking build and they did the rest.
We were so fast that even got time to chat and fool around while waiting for the timers, XD.

I remember one day in the early stages of DoA.
6 hours in Foundry with a pug, just to find we weren't able to kill the Black Beast of Arrgh at the end.
I don't remember the builds we were running, so don't ask.
But I remember for sure a lot of wc/dinner/dog/beer breaks.

I remember when Tombs Underworld first came out. We did a guildie trip there, took us at least 6 hours :/
Almost failed at the last 3 bosses as well, everyone had 60dp, we ended up using people as meatbags etc
But probably some of the most fun ive ever had in GW

Nothing to add. PvE pugs generally suck, PvP are quite ok most of the time.
